This painting was undertaken ‘plein air’ in the Scottish Highlands recently on an unusually warm Spring evening. The tide moved so quickly on the loch and the constant light changing in the surrounding mountains made it quite a challenging piece. Standing on a slip-way at the edge of Loch Leven in Invercoe, we are only minutes from the epic Glencoe Mountain Range.
